My HydraFacial Experience at Slate Medspa

Last week I had the opportunity to go and try out a Hydrafacial at Slate Medspa in Paramus, NJ. My skin was in need of some hydration due to the cold weather drying me out. Slate Medspa is known for their non-invasive, FDA approved body contouring and beauty treatments. They offer so many great services such as:

  • CoolSculpting

  • Botox

  • A variety of facials

  • Hair and Scalp Therapy

  • Microneedling

  • Lip Filler

The best part about their procedures being non-invasive is that there is no recovery time needed!

What is a HydraFacial?

A HydraFacial is where spa therapies and advanced medical technology merge. It delivers long-term results regarding skin health and can be adapted for any skin type. Due to the combination of advanced hydrating techniques, instant and noticeable results are produced with no recovery time needed! HydraFacial combines hydro exfoliation with simultaneous topical infusion of custom solutions specific to your skin condition.

How Does HydraFacial Work?

Through patented Vortex-Fusion technology, skin is gently pulled into the chamber, allowing the solutions to gently cleanse and unclog pores, exfoliate dead skin cells and extract keratin, sebum, blackheads or any other impurities from pores. The unique tip will then drive the solutions deep into the skin, right down to the dermal junction where skin cells are regenerated.

Step 1: Cleanse & Peel

Step 2: Extract & Hydrate

Step 3: Fuse & Protect

Benefits of a HydraFacial:

  • Abrasion free hydra peeling

  • Non-invasive and non-irritating

  • Safe for all skin types

  • Gentle liquid exfoliation

  • Improves circulation and blood flow

  • Visible results after one session

  • No downtime needed

My Experience with HydraFacial

My skin has been suffering from the weather and even my previous skincare products aren’t nourishing my skin the way they used to. My experience with the HydraFacial was amazing to say the least. It brought my skin back to life and is now so smooth and glowing. I have even started using Alastin Skincare's sunscreen, moisturizer and under eye cream that was recommended to me to keep my skin hydrated and on track. If your skin is in need of some hydration I highly recommend making an appointment at Slate MedSpa and taking a look at Alastin Skincare products!
