When people ask, "What's your favorite guilty pleasure?" most answer with the word CHOCOLATE. Who doesn't love something sweet after a delicious meal? Well, fulfill your chocolate needs and desires with Short And Sweet by Erica custom chocolates!
Founded in 2017, Erica Deluccia is the founder and CEO of the up and coming custom chocolate company. Graduating from Ramapo College of NJ in 2018, Deluccia discovered her passion for chocolate making at a young age, and knew this was a career she wished to pursue. "My mom started making chocolate when I was really little and through the years," says Deluccia. "I helped her, learned from her and began making things here and there on my own. We would make things for people as gifts during holidays and other special occasions and people really loved it."
What is amazing about this custom chocolate company is that these chocolate treats are custom made by Erica herself and her mom, who was her inspiration to make this hobby into a business. When I tried these chocolates for the first time, I felt as if each chocolate tasted like it was made with care, precision and love. Erica confirmed my feelings by saying, "I strive for perfection to keep my customers happy and returning."
Only starting in 2017, Erica has already grown a pretty decent sized client list, and it is only growing. She offers many different chocolate covered options, including cookies, pretzels, nuts, barks, and etc.... Erica's favorite chocolate she makes is her caramel pretzels. She uses Baker's caramel, molds it into a long rope and wraps it around a pretzel rod then dip the pretzel in chocolate.
Is your mouth watering already? If it is, you better start ordering because Erica needs at least one weeks notice for smaller orders and two weeks or more for bigger orders. Because she is a smaller company right now, she only does delivery to the NJ area, but as she expands, she definitely plans on looking into different shipping options.
